I write this sitting at my desk at home. It is early Friday evening. I just spent two hours coaching one of the top performers in my company on e-mail management. You should have sign the lights go on in his eyes half-way through. The delight and the smile when the penny drops, that moment when the burden of cancerous e-mail in-box drops off the shoulders is priceless.
It is the umpteenth time I coach someone on personal productivity for the love of it. And every time I do it they say to me that I have a lucrative business opportunity in my hands.
Well last week someone said it to me for the very last time. I made the decision to start my own business - consulting on personal productivity. This blog will tell the story of how I go about doing just that and it will be a place where I share my thoughts on personal productivity with the world.
